Scenario
A 16 year old male sprinter on the track team comes to you and tells you he is having great difficulty breathing during his warm up and as he explains his problem you can see he is in a great deal of pain and having a difficult time breathing. He does not indicate that any traumatic event has occurred so there is no reason to expect a rib fracture or other physical damage. What advice should you give him?
