Chapter 11: Creative Problem Solving

Exercise #1: Light-bulbs Galore!
What's your problem? If you're like most people, you have many, perhaps hundreds. Do you know how to think? You may, in fact, think you do, and be hoodwinked to think otherwise. Problem solving is the epitome of thinking, both right and left brain thinking. Most people today are total left-brain thinkers and hence, not good thinkers at all. This website challenges you to think (outside the box) and come to a greater understanding about the creative thinking process and the creative problem solving process. Check out the content of this website and see how it compares with what is described in the book.

Exercise # 2: In Search of a good idea?
Sometimes it's tough looking for good ideas. If you find yourself in this situation now and again, consider surfing over to this website and checking out the mountain of possibilities for whacking your mind to generate some good ideas (creativity techniques). Begin this exercise by identifying a problem, and then write it down. Then select between 5-10 items on the menu bar (left hand side) and see what comes of brainstorming with the wisdom from this web page.
