California Health Care Foundation Report
This is the website of CORE Group, a membership association of international nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) that promotes and improves the health of children and women in developing countries through collaborative NGO action and learning. In 2003-2004, CORE disbursed six awards to its members for diffusion of promising child health innovations to a larger audience. The winning innovations included a practical guide for Africa on Vitamin A supplementation, a guide for community-based volunteer health educators, partnership defined quality (PDQ) approach, barrier analysis manual, Census-Based, Impact-Oriented (CBIO) approach, and a safe motherhood program.
